Ellen Childs, PhD, and John Kane, DPP, members of the Building Success research team, presented “Tracking Reports of Smoking Violations in Public Housing: Initial Findings” at the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) annual conference in Anaheim, CA, on June 28, 2018.
Their presentation focused on results of a smoking violations data system that was implemented at Boston Housing Authority. The system includes a violation tracking database, a reporting voicemail tip line, and dissemination of information about the non-smoking policy and violation reporting options to residents.
